What a great day for Beecroft Lawn Tennis Club! – so many people enjoying themselves – making new friends, playing tennis while enjoying the sunshine. Many were playing on a lawn court for the first time, and while they found it difficult, really enjoyed the Wimbledon vibe as well as feeling welcomed by the Club.
The Sets Board has never been so full – if it has, I can’t remember it!
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the day successful, especially Lynne Cottee who worked to organise everyone, decorated the Clubhouse, run the trivia, and made sure the day went smoothly. Also to everyone who contributed by helping set up, prepare the drinks and food – it was really terrific.
Finally, the day was made even better due to the new Members and friends who joined us.
