As in 2014, Belinda Harrison and Suzanne Payne again lined up for the Women’s Singles title. Last year Suzanne managed to get one of three sets in the grand final and she was hoping to have a chance to improve last year’s performance.

Unfortunately for Suzanne, it was not to be, with Belinda prevailing in 2 sets, 6-0, 6-2. Suzanne has experienced some ankle/foot problems in the past few months and this did not help but she was generous in her praise of Belinda’s play. In Suzanne’s words, Belinda is Queen of the Grass at Beecroft.
