Over the past few months club championships have been underway with Shri Ramlu co-ordinating the various competitions. This is a big job and we are very grateful to Sri for donating his time to make the events run smoothly.

It has been good to see spectators supporting some of the events, though it would be good to encourage more members to do this. It has also been great to see how some of the events have attracted a larger number of competitors than in previous years.

In the mixed doubles this year we had 8 pairs nominate to play. Some of the sets were closely fought with several going to 3 sets. It was heartening to see some of the men who had not previously paired up for mix doubles agreeing to participate.

Thank you Peter, Shaun, Doug, Kevin and Sam for agreeing to participate with the other men in this competition. Lets hope we can build on this.
